No. You can book directly with us without a referral from another doctor. Simply contact us through any of our booking channels and our team will guide you to the right specialist.

Initial consultations are typically 30–60 minutes, depending on the complexity of your concern. Follow-up appointments are usually shorter. We allocate sufficient time so that you never feel rushed.

Yes. You are welcome to bring a support person - a partner, family member, or friend - to your consultation. Please let us know when booking so we can ensure appropriate space is available. Some consultations, particularly those of a highly sensitive nature, are conducted with the patient alone unless you specifically request otherwise.

We understand that plans change. Please notify us as early as possible - ideally at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment - by calling or WhatsApp on +256 785 453830 or emailing info@bloomwomenshealthug.com. This allows us to offer your slot to another patient who may need it.

Yes. If you have received a diagnosis or recommendation elsewhere and would like a specialist second opinion, we welcome you. Please bring any relevant medical records, scan reports, or test results to your appointment.

Absolutely. We serve women from across Uganda and are happy to accommodate patients who are travelling to see us. Our telehealth service is also available for follow-up care and consultations that do not require a physical examination - making it easier to maintain your care relationship with Bloom regardless of where you are.

Yes. Bloom provides specialist adolescent gynaecology and reproductive health services tailored specifically for teenage girls. Young patients are seen in a safe, age-appropriate, and fully confidential environment.

That is completely understandable - and you are not alone. Many of our patients feel anxious before their first visit, particularly for sensitive concerns. Our team is trained to put you at ease from the moment you arrive. You can also call or WhatsApp us before your appointment if you want to talk through what to expect. We are here for that too.
